Open Landelijke Atelierdagen: A Weekend Full of Art, Encounters, and Meaningful Conversations
What a special experience it was to welcome so many visitors during the Open Studio Days. A weekend filled with art, curious eyes, meaningful conversations, and personal encounters that will stay with me for a long time.
During the Open Studio Days, I had the opportunity to open my atelier to visitors who were curious about my paintings, my way of working, and my creative process. It remains something truly special to let people experience my work not only online, but especially in real life.
Some of the reactions really touched me:
🖼️ “So lovely, I even cut out all the newspaper clippings and glued them behind your painting.”
🚗 “I drove 45 minutes especially to see your work in person.”
✨ “I keep seeing you on social media, and I was so curious about you, your atelier, and your artwork.”
💬 “You’re doing such an amazing job and you’re visible everywhere.”
These are exactly the moments that make the Open Studio Days so valuable. Art truly comes alive when you can share it, when people are moved by a painting, or when spontaneous conversations arise about inspiration, color, and creativity.
I look back on this art weekend with so much joy and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who visited, took a look inside my atelier, asked questions, left a message, or simply came by to experience the atmosphere.
Did you miss my atelier during the Open Studio Days, but would you still like to see my paintings and artworks? Good news: on the weekend of May 24 and 25, I will be participating in Route voor de Kunst. You can find more information via social media.
